About PlastShop

Background

PlastShop started from a simple idea: finding information about plastic, and ordering it, ought to be easier. Traditionally this trade has been marked by long delivery times, unclear prices and awkward ordering processes. We wanted to change that.

Today PlastShop is a digital platform that connects Nordic industrial customers with the leading plastics manufacturers in Europe. We hold no stock of our own. Instead we ship straight from the manufacturers, which gives us extreme flexibility and access to their entire range without tying up capital in a warehouse.

Our everyday work is solving customer problems. We guide customers to the right material, in the right dimension, at the right price. Whether it is a single sheet for a prototype or a pallet of PE-1000 for a conveyor.

How we work

Almost everything happens over the web and the phone. We believe in digital tools that make it easier for the customer: an online shop with up to date prices, a weight calculator, a cutting optimizer and technical datasheets available right away. At the same time we are always reachable by phone and email for advice and special orders.

We work only with carefully selected European manufacturers certified to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. Several of our suppliers also hold ISO 50001 (energy management) and make materials with food approval (FDA, EU 10/2011) and fire classification.
