Box gasket in graphited fiberglass is a braided packing for the stuffing box around a shaft or spindle.
The weave is fiberglass treated with graphite, just as the name graphited says.
The graphite on the fiberglass weave makes the packing run more easily against the rotating shaft.
It is placed in the stuffing box on a pump or a valve. Ask us if you are unsure about the dimension.
