A rubber tear plate mat is a floor mat with a tear plate pattern that gives slip resistance and spares the surface underneath.
The pattern leads water and dirt away, and the rubber takes traffic, knocks and daily wear. The mat is cut to size and laid in workshops, on truck beds and in stairs.
