Think about the operating environment. TPE is happiest at normal indoor temperature and in dry to slightly damp spaces. If the caster stands still for a long time under full load, the tread can take a temporary flat spot that rolls out after a while; that belongs to soft elastic materials and does not affect the caster in the long run.

The two wheels side by side share the load and give a wide, stable ride while the overall height is kept down. The tread is a thermoplastic elastomer at around 85 degrees Shore A, soft and quiet, built for moving moderate loads indoors where the noise level and care for the floor carry weight.

The TPE tread is soft and gray, which makes it non-marking, and it leaves no black streaks on light floors. The soft TPE tread trades a little easy rolling for quietness and gentle contact with the floor. It therefore suits places where you move moderate loads on fine indoor floors and want a low noise level rather than maximum load capacity.

The polypropylene hub is light and corrosion-free, easy to keep clean and unbothered by moisture, which is an advantage in spaces that are hosed down or wiped off often. The bearing is a plain bearing, a simple and maintenance-free design that handles dust and wet and lasts a long time without lubrication. It is well matched to the moderate load the series is built for.

The wheels come in diameters from 50 to 75 mm and carry up to 100 kg per wheel. A larger diameter rolls more easily over joints and thresholds and lowers the rolling resistance, while a smaller one keeps the overall height down where it is tight under the cart. The double tread makes the caster stand steady even when the load sits in the upper part of the range, since the contact pressure is spread over two running surfaces.

The bracket swivels 360 degrees and lets the wheel follow along in turns, which makes the cart easy to turn and maneuver in a small space. Mounting is done with a top plate, a fastening plate with four screw holes, which gives a stable fastening against a flat surface and spreads the forces widely. That suits carts and frames with a standardized plate. The caster comes both with a wheel brake, which locks the wheel, and with a total lock brake, which locks both the wheel and the swivel so the cart stands still where it is put.
