The bracket turns 360 degrees and makes the cart easy to maneuver, while the total lock brake locks both the wheel and the swivel in one move so that the cart stays where you put it. The tread is an elastic rubber at 75 Shore A, a firmer kind of softness that gives quiet, smooth running and is gentle on the floor while still rolling reasonably easily.

The firmer hardness shapes how the tread behaves. At 75 Shore A the rubber compresses fairly little, so the contact patch stays moderate and the rolling resistance stays low. The wheel therefore rolls more easily than a really soft rubber wheel but keeps its damping, quiet character. With many starts and stops you notice that the wheel gets going without unnecessary force, and the total lock brake lets you park the cart safely in a moment between operations.

A comparison makes the choice clearer. A softer rubber damps more and grips better on uneven floors, but it drags and sinks under load. A hard polyurethane or plastic wheel rolls the easiest and carries the most, but it runs harder. ElastoGum at 75 Shore A sits toward the firmer end among the rubber wheels and suits you where you want quiet running, easy rolling and a dependable parking brake.

The hub in PA6 is light and free from corrosion and holds its shape under load. The series comes with both ball bearings and double ball bearings. The ball bearing gives low rolling resistance and even running; the double ball bearings spread the load over two rows of balls and give steadier running under heavier loads. The choice follows the weight of the cart: a heavier load speaks for the double ball bearings.

The wheels come in diameters from 100 to 200 mm and carry up to 300 kg per wheel in the series. A larger diameter rolls more easily over thresholds and joints, while a smaller one lowers the overall height where space is tight. Mounting is by bolt hole, a single hole straight through the bracket plate, which makes the caster easy to fasten with a through bolt where a top plate does not fit.

Think about the operating environment. Rubber is happy at normal indoor temperature and in dry to slightly damp premises. Dark rubber grades can leave marks on light floors, so choose a light tread if you need to. If the wheel stands still for a long time under load, the tread can take a temporary flat spot that rolls out after a while.
