Machines rarely stand on flat floors; concrete slopes, wears and gets patched in stages. Machine foot SF32 is an articulated leveling foot that takes up the unevenness of the floor and lets you level the machine with the spindle instead of with wedges and shims. The foot consists of a base plate, a joint and a threaded spindle that screws into the machine frame. The foot is made in stainless steel with a rubber anti-slip pad at the bottom and an eyelet in the base plate, so that the foot can be anchored to the floor when the machine must not move.

The joint between spindle and base plate allows an angle of up to 10 degrees. That is plenty for the slopes found in workshops and warehouses. The base plate makes contact across its full area even when the frame is not vertical, and the load is spread over the plate instead of resting on an edge that gnaws at the floor. The spindle has wrench flats; the height is adjusted with an ordinary wrench even when the machine is already in place and pressing on the foot. Having the joint in the foot and not in the frame also means the machine can be moved to a place with a different floor slope without any new work. You screw, level and lock again. The wrench flats also keep your hands away from the pinch zone under the frame while you adjust.

SF32 is a series with 161 versions. The base plate comes in diameters from 60 to 120 mm, the spindle in thread sizes from M10 to M48 and in lengths from 50 to 480 mm. The axial load reaches up to 3 000 kg per foot depending on size; the exact value per version is in the manufacturer's data sheet. You pick the size as a variant straight on the product page.

The stainless version makes the foot usable in food production, wash rooms and other spaces with regular wet cleaning as well, where a zinc plated foot soon looks tired.
