An oil hose is made to carry oil and oil products.
It is built in nitrile rubber, sometimes called Buna-N or just nitrile. The material stands up to oil, grease, fuel and hydraulic fluid, while the weakness is ozone, UV and really high temperatures. This version handles a working pressure of around 10 bar and has a built-in spiral for suction and bending. This product, NBR 10 bar without spiral, is meant for industrial use where the properties of the material come into their own. Use NBR 10 bar without spiral in lightweight applications where corrosion resistance and electrical insulation are valuable.
