Sheet in PA6.6 GF50 1000x620x15 mm black

This is a sheet made of PA6.6 GF50, glass fiber reinforced polyamide 6.6 with 50 percent glass fiber.

The material is semi-crystalline and has a melting point of 256 °C.

The density is 1.61 g/cm³, the tensile strength 115 MPa and the tensile modulus 8700 MPa.

The elongation at break is 2 percent, the flexural strength 200 MPa and Shore D 90. The continuous service temperature is 130 °C.

Used for gears, sprockets, slide strips, bearing bushings, wear plates and structural parts that need a little higher stiffness and heat resistance than PA6.

The plastic can be sawn, milled, turned and drilled with tools meant for engineering plastics. Sharp inserts give a cleaner surface when milling. Moisture affects the dimensions, so let the material rest in the workshop climate before the finishing cuts.
