    This is a sheet made of PA612, polyamide 6.12, a cast blended polyamide.

    The material is semi-crystalline and has a melting point of 220 °C.

    The density is 1.12 g/cm³, the yield strength 80 MPa and the elongation at break 55 percent.

    The tensile modulus is 2500 MPa, the flexural strength 135 MPa and the ball indentation hardness 140 MPa.

    Used for heavy parts and large cross sections where toughness, impact resistance and low moisture uptake are needed at the same time.

    The plastic can be sawn, milled, turned and drilled with tools meant for engineering plastics. Sharp inserts give a cleaner surface when milling. Moisture affects the dimensions, so let the material rest in the workshop climate before the finishing cuts.

    This particular sheet in PA612 measuring 3050 x 1220 x 30 mm in the color natural suits heavy parts and large cross sections where toughness and low moisture uptake are needed. Cut to size on request.
