The selected combination does not exist.

A ball table is never better than its stiffest ball, and sooner or later single ball rollers have to be replaced. This clip is the fastening that turns the swap into a quick routine job: it locks the BUSP 22 H-CL ball roller into its mounting hole without a screw, a nut or a special tool.

The clip has a diameter of 37 mm and is meant for ball rollers in the CL version, that is, versions built for clip mounting. The principle is simple: the clip holds the ball roller in place in the hole, and when you swap it out the clip is released so a new roller can go into the same hole. The exact mounting instruction and hole dimension are given in the manufacturer data sheet.

The temperature range is -30 °C to +70 °C, the same span as the ball rollers it belongs with, and the part is not rated as heat resistant. Clip and ball roller can therefore sit in the same environments without the fastening becoming the weak link; cold stores and unheated buildings are no problem.

Why clip mounting at all? Maintenance economy. In a ball table or a carton lane with tens or hundreds of rollers, single units always wear out first: the ones sitting where the goods land, turn or brake. With bolted or pressed fastenings every swap becomes a small strip-down job. With clips you pull out the tired roller and press a new one in while the rest of the lane keeps running.

It also changes how you think about spare parts. Order a few extra clips together with the ball rollers when you build something new; they take up no room in the spares box, and the day a ball seizes you do not want to be waiting for a fastening. A clip that has been deformed or lost its spring during removal is better replaced than reused, so count on using a few over time.

When mounting: check that the hole is clean and the edges free of burrs before the clip goes in, and feel that the ball roller sits firmly with no play afterwards. A roller that moves in its seat knocks against the edges on every pass; you can hear it, and it wears both the hole and the clip. Note as well that the clip is meant for the CL version of the ball roller, not for the standard version.

Put the ball table into the same inspection round as the rest of your lanes. Spin a sample of balls by hand, listen for scraping and feel for stiffness; a stiff ball is found in seconds and the swap costs minutes. It is cheap insurance against operators getting used to a table that runs heavy.

Count the time as well. A planned swap with clips is done by regular staff on the spot, without booking maintenance or taking the lane out of service; that is the difference between a note in the inspection log and a work order that has to be prioritized, planned and followed up.

In warehouses and production this type of clip sits in ball tables at packing stations, in carton lanes at picking and in transfer areas where crates change direction. Anywhere the lane runs every day, easy replacement is worth more than it looks like on paper; a lane that can be fixed in a minute gets fixed, while one that needs tools and a strip-down waits until the next stop.
