Filament in PEI 1010 1.75 mm natural 1 kg

PEI, that is polyetherimide, is a high performance plastic that takes high heat. This is the material on a roll as a filament for 3D printers, with a wire diameter of 1.75 mm. The material is amorphous, which means it has no melting point but softens gradually, and it takes 170 degrees in continuous service. It burns slowly and goes out by itself, rated UL 94 V-0 without a flame retardant additive, which is the very reason to choose PEI over more common printing plastics.

This grade is PEI 1010, one of the base grades for additive manufacturing. It is approved for aircraft interiors, where the demand for materials that do not spread fire is strict. The filament is supplied in natural color on a roll of 1 kg and suits printers that handle the high printing temperature PEI calls for.
