Sheet in Duraten 30 FR
Duraten 30 FR is a cross-linked foam plastic in polyethylene, a closed cell PE foam supplied as sheet. The cross-linking binds the cells harder than in ordinary foam plastic, which gives a dry, firm and dimensionally stable material.
Anyone who knows Sensaten PE 30 AU FR will recognize the properties right away, because Duraten 30 FR has the same dry, rough surface and closed cells that shut out moisture. FR stands for fire rated; it handles high fire requirements and may sit where a fire test is required. This product, Duraten 30 FR, is intended for industrial use where the properties of the material come into their own. Use Duraten 30 FR for prototypes, models, displays and other parts where a light and stiff surface is needed.
