Sheet in PA6.6 CF20 3000x500 mm black

This is a sheet made of PA6.6 CF20, carbon fiber reinforced polyamide 6.6 with 20 percent carbon fiber.

The material is semi-crystalline and has a melting point of 251 °C.

The density is 1.23 g/cm³, the tensile strength 104 MPa and the tensile modulus 5100 MPa.

The elongation at break is 13 percent and the unnotched impact strength 116 kJ/m². The thermal conductivity is 0.72 W/mK.

Used for gears, sprockets, slide strips, bearing bushings, wear plates and structural parts that need a little higher stiffness and heat resistance than PA6.

The plastic can be sawn, milled, turned and drilled with tools intended for engineering plastics. When milling, sharp inserts give a cleaner surface. Moisture affects the dimensions, so let the material rest in the workshop climate before final sizing.
