Sheet in PA6 C Glide 3048x610 mm green

This is a sheet made of PA6 C Glide, glide optimized cast polyamide 6, dry lubricated with a solid lubricant.

The material is semi-crystalline and has a melting point of 218 °C.

The density is 1.13 g/cm³, the yield strength 76 MPa and the tensile modulus 3200 MPa.

The elongation at break is 18 percent, Shore D 79 and the unnotched impact strength gives no break.

The continuous service temperature is 100 °C, 130 °C for short periods. The fire rating is HB.

Used for bearing bushings, slide strips, chain guides, wear rails and other sliding surfaces that have to run dry without regular relubrication.

The plastic can be sawn, milled, turned and drilled with tools intended for engineering plastics. When milling, sharp inserts give a cleaner surface. Moisture affects the dimensions, so let the material rest in the workshop climate before final sizing.
