With four connections the connector handles joints where a continuous beam meets both a leg and a cross brace. It turns up in the middle of longer racks and tables, where a simple corner connector is not enough and the structure needs support in several directions.
RK48 is a four way connector with a steel core and an internal thread for square tubes in nylon PA6. The series covers square tube 25x25 and 30x30 mm with a wall thickness of 1.5 to 2.0 mm, and you pick the dimension as a variant here on the product page. The connector is pressed into the tube ends and builds the structure together without welding; cut the tubes, put the connector in and tap the parts together with a rubber mallet.
