Laser Safety Window P1E12 in plastic 6 mm red-orange

The standard window when the laser works at the short end of the spectrum: ultraviolet, blue and green up to 540 nm. A red-orange absorbing filter with no coatings; the protection sits in the whole material and cannot be worn off the surface.

The filter holds optical density OD 10+ across the whole 180 to 525 nm band and OD 8+ at 532 nm. The OD number states how many powers of ten the laser light is attenuated by, so the higher the number, the less light gets through. The window is CE certified per EN 60825-4; the full protection table is under Technical data.

That makes the window right for frequency-doubled disk, fiber and Nd:YAG lasers as well as diode lasers in the blue and green range, and for UV lasers. Daylight transmission is around 21 percent, which is enough to follow the work through the pane.

The thickness is approximately 6 mm. The window comes in four standard sizes and can be made to measure up to 3000x2000 mm. Always calculate the protection level your laser requires before choosing a filter; request a quote with your exact dimensions and volume.
