With the 6 mm build of the blue P1P10 filter, plastic windows for the first time reached the same protection levels as comparable mineral glass, and on one point beyond: protection level D LB7 with IRM LB8 at 1030 to 1400 nm, in a material that neither shatters nor weighs like glass.
The broadband protection stretches from 635 to 11500 nm. In the red range 635 to 690 nm sits RB1 alignment protection per EN 208, so the pilot beam can be aligned without lifting the pane away. Optical density OD 8+ applies at 1030 to 1400 nm; the higher the OD number, the less laser light gets through. CE marked, with the full protection table under Technical data.
The filter absorbs the laser light throughout the bulk and carries a scratch-resistant coating on both sides. Daylight transmission is 16 percent with good color rendering; a clear step up from classic green glass panes. The right window for disk and fiber lasers, 960 nm diodes and Nd:YAG.
Four standard sizes, made to measure up to 3000x2000 mm. The same filter also comes in 3 mm where weight matters more than margin. Request a quote with your exact dimensions and volume.
