Welding Rod in PVDF-C natural

PVDF-C is the copolymer version of the fluoropolymer PVDF, a material quality of its own and not the same thing as pure PVDF. The letter C stands for copolymer, a version that is tougher and softer and takes forming and movement without cracking. The density is the same, 1.78, but the material is softer with a Shore D hardness of 75 and softens already around 115 degrees, so lower than the stiffer base version. It is also tougher on impact, with a notched impact strength of 14 kJ/m2. Where the base material has to carry load hot, the copolymer is chosen instead when the stock has to be formed or take movement.

This is welding rod in PVDF-C in natural color. It belongs with the copolymer sheet and is used to join exactly that tougher, softer PVDF-C quality, not the stiffer base version, so the joint gets the same properties as the stock around it. The rod is always sold as part of a larger build, never on its own.
