A leveling foot only does good if it can be adjusted once the machine is in place. If the foot sits under a frame leg made of tube you rarely reach the base from the side, and then the hex socket versions are the answer: the screw has a hex socket in the top, so you set the height from above, through the opening of the tube or a hole in the table top. It may sound like a detail, but anyone who has once lain under a heavy packing table with a flashlight in their mouth knows that it is not. SF46 has a slot in the bottom and a hex socket in the top, with a wide 45 mm base that gives stable contact against the floor. Adjust from above once mounted, or from below before the frame is lifted into place.
You buy the series as one product and pick the dimension as a variant on the product page. SF46 comes in six designs with a foot diameter of 45 mm, a foot height of 13 mm and an M10 thread throughout. The screw lengths reach from 20 up to 100 mm; the longest version takes up serious level differences without the base losing stability. Choose the screw length by how much adjustment range the structure needs; more length gives a larger range but also calls for more free space in the tube. If you need to calculate the range, take the largest level difference in the floor plus a little reserve, and it usually lands right.
SF46 is packed in 250 to 400 pieces depending on version. Complete dimensions for each version are in the manufacturer's data sheet, and the variant list with supplier codes is on the product page.
