Box gasket in PTFE-impregnated aramid is a braided packing that sits in the stuffing box and seals around a shaft or spindle.
The weave is aramid fiber impregnated with PTFE plastic, exactly as the name says.
The PTFE impregnation makes the aramid weave more slippery so the packing runs more easily against the moving shaft.
You place it in the stuffing box on a pump or a valve, for example. Get in touch if you need help with dimensions.
