It is built in UHMWPE, an extremely wear resistant polyethylene, the toughest wearing of all the polyethylenes. The material stands up to aggressive chemicals and heavy abrasion, while the weak point is high heat. This version comes with a built-in spiral for suction and bending. This product, UHMWPE with spiral, is meant for industrial use where the properties of the material come into their own. Use UHMWPE with spiral in lightweight applications where corrosion resistance and electrical insulation are valuable.
