Hinge GJ80 is an injection molded hinge in thermoplastic with a matte black surface, meant for doors, hatches and panels in machine guards and cabinet building. The series comes from a Swedish maker of machine elements and is a standard choice in the engineering industry when the hinge has to be corrosion free, quiet and light.

The leaves have plain through holes for screw mounting, and the pin of the pivot is made in stainless steel. The leaves are of equal width on both sides of the pivot, and the screw holes grow with the size, from 4.5 mm in the smallest to 8.5 mm in the largest.

The series covers four sizes with leaf widths from 32 to 96 mm, where the overall height of the pivot grows from 10.5 to 24 mm with the size. You pick the size as a variant on the product page. The dimension designations follow the manufacturer's data sheet, where you also find the hole pattern and center distances so that the hinge can be dropped straight into the CAD model or checked against an existing hole pattern.
