A blue laser window doing the job where the classic green glass used to sit. Color vision through the pane is markedly better, and the protection covers a broadband from 635 all the way up to 11500 nm.
The core is the protection in the near infrared: optical density OD 8+ at 1030 to 1400 nm, with protection level D LB6 and IRM LB8 per EN 207, exactly where disk and fiber lasers operate. On top of that comes RB1 alignment protection per EN 208 between 635 and 690 nm, so the pilot beam can be aligned with the pane in place. The window is CE marked with 5 and 10 second test times; the full table is under Technical data.
The filter works by absorption throughout the material and carries a scratch-resistant coating on both sides. Daylight transmission is 16 percent with good color rendering. Also suitable against 960 nm laser diodes and Nd:YAG.
The thickness is approximately 3 mm; if more margin is needed, the same filter comes in 6 mm. Four standard sizes, made to measure up to 3000x2000 mm. Calculate the protection level your laser requires before ordering; we are happy to help you choose the right one.
