The minimum service temperature is minus 100 °C. The water absorption is 0.12 percent at normal humidity and 0.30 percent at saturation in water. The refractive index is 1.586 and the dielectric constant 3.0 at 1 MHz. The EN 356-P5A splinter protection is reached from 4 mm material thickness.

The UV layer is co-extruded and is to be fitted facing outward toward the sun. Use PC UV for roofs, canopies, railings, facade parts and other outdoor applications where both light transmission and long term weather resistance are required.
