Purten 27 Reg is a clean, nitrogen expanded foam plastic in polyethylene with closed cells, supplied as sheet. It is foamed without chemical blowing agents; nitrogen gas drives the expansion, which gives an unusually clean material.
The same material often goes under the name Ecozote LDR 27, and Purten 27 Reg has the same exclusive feel, fine surface and low density. Reg stands for recycled material, our standard for recycled. This product, Purten 27 Reg, is intended for industrial use where the properties of the material come into their own. Use Purten 27 Reg for prototypes, models, displays and other parts where a light and stiff surface is needed.
