The 90 degree angle makes the connector the standard choice in corners, where a vertical leg meets a horizontal frame. In a simple four legged table or rack it sits in every upper corner, and together with three way and four way connectors from the same program the rest of the frame is then built.

RK28 is a two way connector at a 90 degree angle with a steel core and an internal thread for square tubes in nylon PA6. The series covers square tube 25x25 and 30x30 mm with a wall thickness of 1.5 to 2.0 mm, and you pick the dimension as a variant here on the product page. The connector is pressed into the tube ends and builds the structure together without welding; cut the tubes, put the connector in and tap the parts together with a rubber mallet.

Inside the connector sits a molded in core of zinc plated steel with an internal M8 thread. The steel core makes the joint stiffer than a connector made entirely of plastic, and the thread lets you bolt on swivel casters, adjustable feet or the whole structure without drilling into the tubes. This is the version you choose when the frame is to stand on wheels or when the joint carries more than the weight of the tubes themselves.
