    This is a sheet made of PA6 C MoS², cast polyamide 6 with molybdenum disulfide added as a dry lubricant.

    The material is semi-crystalline and has a melting point of 219 °C.

    The density is 1.15 g/cm³, the yield strength 81 MPa and the elongation at break 48 percent.

    The tensile modulus is 3200 MPa and the sliding friction against steel 0.32 dry.

    The continuous service temperature is 103 °C, 165 °C for short periods and the lowest working temperature -40 °C. The fire rating is HB.

    Used for bearing bushings, slide strips, chain guides, wear rails and other sliding surfaces that have to run dry without regular relubrication.

    The plastic can be sawn, milled, turned and drilled with tools intended for engineering plastics. When milling, sharp inserts give a cleaner surface. Moisture affects the dimensions, so let the material rest in the workshop climate before final sizing.

    This particular sheet in PA6 C MoS² measuring 2000 x 1000 mm in the color gray suits dry sliding surfaces such as bearing bushings, slide strips and wear rails without regular lubrication. Cut to size on request.
