    This is a sheet made of PA6 E MoS², extruded polyamide 6 with molybdenum disulfide added as a dry lubricant.

    The material is semi-crystalline and has a melting point of 220 °C.

    The density is 1.14 g/cm³, the yield strength 84 MPa and the elongation at break 37 percent.

    The tensile modulus is 3300 MPa and Shore D 79.

    The continuous service temperature is 100 °C and 160 °C for short periods. The fire rating is HB.

    Used for bearing bushings, slide strips, chain guides, wear strips and other sliding surfaces that have to run dry without regular relubrication.

    The plastic can be sawn, milled, turned and drilled with tools meant for engineering plastics. Sharp inserts give a cleaner surface when milling. Moisture affects the dimensions, so let the material rest in the workshop climate before the finishing cuts.

    This particular sheet in PA6 E MoS², 3000 x 500 mm in black, suits dry sliding surfaces such as bearing bushings, slide strips and wear strips without regular lubrication. Cut to size on request.
