A Sheet in PC+ASA is a blend of polycarbonate and ASA. ASA gives better weather resistance and surface strength than pure PC, while the polycarbonate part gives toughness and impact resistance. The blend suits outdoor parts that have to take sun, wind and knocks.
The density is 1.14 g/cm³. The modulus is 2 600 MPa and Vicat B 120 °C. The notched impact strength sits at 40 kJ/m² and Shore D is 80. The temperature range runs from minus 30 to plus 110 °C.
PC+ASA is used for outdoor covers, body parts, facade profiles and other applications where good weather resistance is combined with impact resistance. The material can be sawn, drilled and milled with tools for plastics.
The 3000x2050 mm format in natural gives a generous working area for signs, machine guards and roof parts in PC+ASA.
Sheet in PC+ASA 3000x2050 mm natural is a weather resistant blend of polycarbonate and ASA in 3000x2050 mm, a standalone option in the range. The format and the finish of Sheet in PC+ASA 3000x2050 mm natural make the sheet suitable when you need exactly this variant.
