A hose is made to carry what its name says.
It is built in fluoro rubber (FKM), which is best known under its brand name. The material stands up to high temperatures, oil, fuel, acids and many solvents, while the weakness is hot water and steam in certain situations. This product, Viton unreinforced, is meant for industrial use where the properties of the material come into their own. Use Viton unreinforced in lightweight applications where corrosion resistance and electrical insulation are valuable.
