EVA
Ethylene vinyl acetate
EVA is a soft, flexible material with rubber-like properties. It has good shock absorption, resists UV and does not absorb water. EVA is often used as a seal, gasket and impact protection in industry, and in sports and leisure as well. Thanks to its elasticity and chemical inertness, EVA can be used in damp environments without losing its properties. The material can be cut, punched and glued, which makes it easy to adapt to specific needs.
Properties
Soft and elastic, with a rubber-like feel
Absorbs impacts and vibration effectively
Takes long term UV exposure without breaking down
Does not absorb water, suitable for damp environments
Takes most chemicals in everyday use
Can be cut, punched and glued
